Product & Installation
Q: Are your screens suitable for outdoor use year-round?
Yes, all our screens are designed with durability in mind. They are made using weather-resistant materials that withstand rain, wind, frost and UV exposure - perfect for year-round outdoor use.
Q: Can I install the screens myself?
Absolutely. Our screens are designed for easy DIY installation, and we provide clear step-by-step guides. You’ll just need standard tools and basic DIY knowledge. Alternatively, a local handyman or landscaper can assist.
Q: Do your products come with fixings?
There are so many different ways to install our screens (all clients have their own preferences) we can't include any fixings with any of our screens.
Our 16mm thick screens are designed to be able to act as a partition, and so are compatible with our posts, and our posts come with the required fixings to install them down into place (and our screens will simply slide securely into the posts).
For our 5mm screens against a wall, fence, etc, you will simply purchase your own screws (and raw-plugs if wanted for a wall) from elsewhere (i.e. B&Q, Wickes, Homebase, etc) and simply drill and screw the screens into place, but some clients do use other methods of fixing - like command strips to stick it onto a wall instead of drilling!
Q: Can your screens be cut to size?
All of our screens and panels are designed to be easily cut down to size! It is super easy to do and you can use a Jigsaw or Circular Saw. Don't worry, the screens do not splinter - this is very easy to do, and very common too!

If you want to keep the edging, you can cut that off first and then re-screw or glue it back on. That way, you will not lose the borders.

Q: What finishes are available?
We offer a curated range of finishes including Black, Anthracite Grey, Grey, Cream, Corten Effect, and Woodgrain - depending on the product. All finishes are UV-stable and suitable for outdoor use.
Q: Can I order custom sizes or bespoke designs?
At this time, we do not offer custom orders, please contact our Sales Team for project.For large commercial projects or bulk orders, please contact us to discuss custom options.
Q: Do your screens provide privacy?
Yes. Many of our designs are purposefully engineered to create stylish privacy screens without completely blocking light or airflow - ideal for gardens, patios, and balconies.
Shipping & Delivery
Q: How long will delivery take?
Delivery times are typically 2-3 working days for most items, depending on your location and product availability. Made-to-order or backordered items may take longer, which will be clearly noted on the product page.
Q: Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes, we deliver throughout the UK. For international delivery or remote areas, please contact our Sales Team for a quote.
Q: Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive tracking details via email so you can monitor your delivery.
Returns & Exchanges
Q: What is your returns policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the items are unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. Custom or cut items are non-refundable.
Q: How do I arrange a return?
Please email us at hello@screenwithenvy.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. We’ll guide you through the process. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless it is faulty or damaged.
Q: My item arrived damaged. What should I do?
We’re so sorry to hear that. Please email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage so we can resolve the issue promptly.
Care & Maintenance
Q: How do I clean the screens?
We would recommend simply using a soft sponge with warm soapy water to clean your composite screens.
There are also many composite cleaningsolutions available to purchase via most DIY stores and online if that doesn’t produce results you need.
Q: Will the colour fade over time?
All finishes are powder-coated and UV-stable to maintain their colour for years, even in direct sunlight.
Q: Are your products rust-proof?
Yes. Our aluminium products are rust-resistant and specially coated for outdoor longevity. They will not warp, rot or degrade like traditional timber.
