Designed to be used in conjunction with our aluminium board to board bays, fencing that delivers a clean, architectural finish, our base plate and cover cap allow you to convert selected Screen With Envy posts into a bolt-down, surface-mounted solution.
Perfect for installations onto concrete, paving, or other solid surfaces, this system provides a secure fixing while maintaining the refined aesthetic of our integrated post range.
What is it used for?
This base plate allows you to surface-mount compatible posts instead of setting them into concrete, making it ideal for patios, terraces, hard landscaping, and interior installations.
The matching cover cap neatly conceals fixings, ensuring a polished, professional finish from every angle.

Please note:
Each post has threaded holes on one end only for use with the base plate.
If required, cut the opposite (non-threaded) end of the post before installation.
Installation – important guidance
To ensure correct alignment and an easy screen fit, packer placement is essential.
Before fully tightening the base plate:

Insert the packer into the slot on the post

Slide the packer fully down to the bottom of the post
-
Only then fully tighten the base plate
⚠️ If the base plate is tightened without the packer in place, the slot gap may narrow, making the packers difficult to insert at the base of the post.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?
We offer FREE UK delivery when you spend over £180. For International Orders, please contact the Sales Team for a quotation. Orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours from the date of the order being placed. Please contact us our customer service team if your delivery has not been received within the dates described. Please note that our warehouse is closed from 24th December - 5th January. Orders placed during this period will be dispatched from 6th January
HOW TO RETURN MY ITEMS?
To return your items, please follow these steps:
- Before returning any goods, you will need to contact customer service and quote your order reference number and details of the item to be returned. Any item returned should be unused and in its original condition, including packaging.
- Once your return is received, we will then arrange a replacement or process a refund depending on your requirements.
With a 14-day cooling-off period from delivery to notify us, and you have an additional 14 days to return, covering return postage unless faulty, while faulty goods qualify for a refund, repair, or replacement.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS CAN I USE?
We accept credit/debit cards through WorldPay. All transactions are processed securely. No card details are stored on our system.
