Understanding EVRI Tracking: A Step-by-Step Guide to Parcel Delivery

Are you wondering what EVRI tracking means and how it impacts your parcel delivery experience? Let's delve into it step by step.

When you place an order and it's processed by the warehouse, you'll receive a notification from us confirming that your parcel has been dispatched. Along with this notification, you'll get a 16-digit tracking number via email. This number allows you to monitor your parcel's journey in real-time as it moves through different stages of the delivery process.

Stage 1: We are expecting it

At this stage, EVRI is awaiting your parcel from us. We have a daily collection arrangement with EVRI, ensuring that all parcels dispatched on the day are collected promptly. Due to the oversized nature of some parcels, it takes EVRI depots about two days to begin processing them after collection. For instance, if your order is dispatched on a Monday, it will be collected on the same day but updates will only commence from Wednesday. Once processed, it moves to Stage 2. In practice what this means is the EVRI depots receive many trucks from lots of different businesses at the same time. It will take them a couple of days to scan and process they parcels as showing in their hub. That is why their tracking can say “we're expecting it” for a number of days, even though the parcel has left us and it with EVRI.

Stage 2: We've got it

This stage signifies that your parcel has been processed by the EVRI depot and is ready to start its journey to you. It will be sent to the delivery depot in your area before progressing to the next stage.

Stage 3: On its way

Your parcel is now en route to you. Once it arrives at the delivery depot, you'll be notified, signaling the transition to the next stage: "Out for delivery".

Stage 4: Out for delivery

Upon arrival at the delivery depot, an EVRI driver is assigned to your parcel. You'll receive a one-hour delivery time slot, and every effort will be made to deliver within this window. If there are any delays, the tracking information will be updated accordingly, providing a new time slot or delivery date.

Stage 5: Delivered

Congratulations, your parcel has been delivered! You'll receive a notification confirming delivery, and the tracking information will include a Proof of Delivery (POD), typically consisting of a photo and GPS location indicating where it was delivered.

If your tracking status indicates that your parcel has been delivered but you haven't received it, there are several steps you can take. Firstly, it's possible that the delivery driver attempted to deliver the parcel to one of your neighbors. In such cases, it's advisable to check with your neighbors to see if they accepted the delivery on your behalf.

If the parcel wasn't delivered to a neighbor, you can refer to the Proof of Delivery (POD), which includes a verified GPS location. By clicking on the map provided, you'll be directed to a Google Maps page showing exactly where the delivery was made. Additionally, the delivery photo, if available, can help you identify the location where the parcel was left.

If the parcel was indeed delivered to your address but wasn't left with a neighbor, it's possible that it was left in an unsafe location and subsequently stolen. In this situation, it's important to report the theft to the police and obtain a crime reference number. With this reference number, you can contact us to arrange for a replacement parcel or a refund. We take such incidents seriously and will assist you in resolving the issue promptly.

Understanding EVRI tracking ensures transparency and peace of mind throughout the delivery process. Keep an eye on your tracking number to stay informed about your parcel's journey from dispatch to delivery.
