Understanding EVRI Tracking: What Happens When Your Parcel is expected.
When you place an order with us, your parcel embarks on a journey, passing through different stages until it reaches your doorstep. At a crucial stage of this journey, EVRI steps in, awaiting your parcel from us.
Let's explore what happens during this stage and what to expect if your tracking status indicates "we're expecting it."
EVRI, our trusted partner, operates on a daily collection arrangement, ensuring prompt collection of all parcels dispatched on the day. However, due to the oversized nature of some parcels, EVRI depots require about two days to commence processing after collection. For instance, if your order is dispatched on a Monday, it's collected the same day, but updates on its status may only begin from Wednesday. This delay occurs because EVRI depots handle numerous trucks from various businesses simultaneously. As a result, it takes time for them to scan and process parcels efficiently within their hub.
While small parcels undergo automated processing, sorted by postcodes on conveyor belts, our parcels are considered "oversized" by couriers. Consequently, they require manual handling and scanning, prolonging the processing time on EVRI's end.
Upon receiving your tracking number, we advise waiting for two working days before contacting us if the tracking status remains unchanged. Here's what this status could signify:
1. Depot Processing Delay: Particularly during peak seasons or bank holiday periods, EVRI may experience backlogs due to the high volume of parcels received. If your parcel is still being processed by the depot after two days, we initiate a query with EVRI to obtain further information. While it may take up to 72 hours for EVRI to respond, if they're unable to track your parcel, a depot search is conducted to locate it. If the search yields positive results, your parcel is processed as usual, albeit with delayed delivery. However, if the search is unsuccessful, we escalate the issue and offer either a replacement or a refund, based on your preference.
2. Incorrect Delivery Depot: In some instances, parcels may be routed to the wrong delivery depot, resulting in delays in updating the tracking status. In such cases, the parcel remains stuck at the depot until it is resent to the correct delivery depot, causing delays in delivery.
Understanding these processes ensures transparency and clarity regarding your parcel's transit. While delays may occur, rest assured that we're committed to resolving any issues promptly. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we're here to assist you every step of the way.
By providing insights into the complexities of EVRI tracking during transit, we aim to alleviate any concerns you may have and ensure a seamless delivery experience for you.
